Race Street Championship

Race Street is a fitness community within Cincinnati. In addition to free weekly workouts, Race Street annually hosts fitness competitions—most notably, the Race Street Championship. As lead designer, my role was to conceptualize the brand and overall theme for 2024 championship and create the visual guidelines. The style was implemented throughout promo graphics and videos for print, social and web.

Because of a two year hiatus, the overall theme was a reminiscent exploration of nostalgic memories, from which the old school, scrapbook concept was extracted. A lot of assets were made by hand; I printed, cut out, hand collaged, tapped and scanned imagery to maintain the genuineness of the style. Once re-uploaded, I added text or additional textures in Photoshop.
